• Willingness to obtain all WA state early learning requirements
• Experience as a one-on-one aide preferred
• Experience working with children with special care plans desirable
• Ability to provide one-on-one attention while integrated within a classroom setting with other children

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our preschool team as a One-on-One Teacher Aide. This position involves providing personalized support to a child in our preschool classroom, ensuring their safety, engagement, and learning.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one assistance to a child in the preschool classroom
• Assist the child with activities and tasks as directed by the teacher or individualized education plan (IEP)
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for the child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher and other staff members to implement strategies that meet the child's needs
• Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding the child's progress and any concerns
• Follow all WA state early learning requirements and guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in early childhood education or a related field preferred
• Previous experience as a one-on-one aide or working with children with special care plans preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
